DMCA & Copyright Policy

Updated 22 October 2026

Play Karlo respects the rights of copyright owners and expects its users to do the same. This page explains how Play Karlo works, how to report a link that infringes your copyright, and what we do when we get a report.

1. We don't host content

Play Karlo is a video player. Users paste a link from a third-party storage service, such as Terabox or Diskwala, or a direct video URL, and Play Karlo plays the file from where it's stored. No videos are uploaded to or stored on Play Karlo's servers. We have no catalogue, no search of other people's files, and no list of content to browse.

Because the file stays with the original host, the most effective way to remove it everywhere is to also send a notice to that host (for example Terabox or Diskwala). Once they take a file down, its link stops working in Play Karlo too.

2. How to send a copyright notice

Email premcayt@gmail.com with the subject line "DMCA notice" and include:

  1. your full name, address, phone number and email address;
  2. a description of the copyrighted work you believe is being infringed;
  3. the exact link or links you want blocked (the Terabox, Diskwala or direct video URL, or the Play Karlo share link);
  4. a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  5. a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf; and
  6. your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is enough).

We accept notices under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, and equivalent laws elsewhere. Notices in English or Hindi are fine.

3. What we do after a valid notice

Incomplete notices may be delayed while we ask for the missing details.

4. Counter-notice

If you believe a link was blocked by mistake, or you have the right to share the material, email premcayt@gmail.com with the subject "Counter-notice", the blocked link, your contact details, an explanation of why the block was a mistake, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate. We may forward your counter-notice to the person who filed the original notice.

5. False claims

Knowingly sending a false notice or counter-notice can make you liable for damages. If you are not sure whether something infringes your rights, please get legal advice first.
