Terabox link not opening? 7 reasons and fixes

Updated 22 October 2026

You paste a Terabox link and nothing happens, or you get an error. Here are the seven most common reasons, starting with the most likely, and what you can do about each.

1. The link was copied only partly

Chat apps sometimes cut long links or add a line break in the middle. A Terabox share link needs the full code after /s/. Fix: long-press the original link and choose Copy link. Don't select the text by hand.

2. The owner deleted the file

If the person who shared it removed the file from their Terabox, every copy of the link stops working. Fix: ask the sender for a new link. Nothing on your side can bring a deleted file back.

3. The share has expired

Terabox lets people share links that only work for 1, 7 or 30 days. Fix: ask for a fresh link, ideally one set to "permanent".

4. The link needs a password

Some shares are protected with an extraction code. The code is often sent next to the link, as pwd=xxxx or "code: xxxx". Fix: make sure you copied the code too. Links that need a code can't be played without it.

5. The file was removed by Terabox

Terabox takes down files after copyright complaints or for breaking its rules. The link then shows "file not found" or "this share has been cancelled". Fix: none. The file is gone from Terabox's servers.

6. The domain isn't recognised

Terabox uses many domains: terabox.com, 1024terabox.com, teraboxapp.com, terasharelink.com and others. Play Karlo supports the common ones. If yours is new, it may not be picked up yet. Fix: try changing the domain to terabox.com and keep the rest of the link the same.

7. A temporary server problem

Sometimes Terabox is slow or briefly down. Play Karlo tries a second server automatically, but if both are busy the search fails. Fix: wait a minute and search again.

Still not working?

If the link opens in the Terabox app but not in Play Karlo, let us know on the contact page and include the link. Links that rights holders have reported are blocked on purpose. Those show "This video isn't available."

Play Karlo doesn't host any videos. Only play files you own or have permission to watch. Rights holders can report a link on our DMCA page.
